Yep I bought them as a pair and as far as I can tell they are a pair. I am expecting the male to get around 6.5 to 7 ft. and the female around 5 ft. These dudes get big and they are eating machines. I really like them.

I have an 8ft. cage waiting on them. The will eat pretty much anything. I feed them rats and roaches at the moment. But soon baby chicks will be on the menu. I try to feed different things . These large lizards will eat alot and they need alot of space. Bigger is defintely bettter with these guys.

Since they have moved up to small rats i whack them before they go in . But anything smaller than that goes straight in. They are really cool. They almost make you feel sorry for the rat. They can kill much larger prey than you think. But I hate to see them take the bites.

Anytime I love Monitor lizards . I was going to sell them . But I may keep them and try to raise some in a few years. They have to be 3 years old to breed. Nver can tell what I'm liable to do. LOL

I got them back in Nov. of last year. I'm ready to get some smaller stuff. They take up way too much room. I am looking for some Crested geckos. Maybe some cool Leos. I thought about getting some more chameleons too.
